Ignoring the Constitution is not the answer

So apparently, Congress does not think that the Constitution applies anymore. It also apparently thinks that everything that does not instantly make sense in two seconds must be punished with things that ONLY make sense if you think about them for two minutes.

Since when do we allow Ex Post Facto Law and Bills of Attainder in this country??

Yeah, the AIG employees in question make more in an hour than I do in several years. Some of them are probably jerks, criminals, incompetent, whatever. But I'm sure some of these employees are legit, and worked hard, and it's not ALL of their faults that the business failed. Please contact your congresscritters and explain this all to them.
